摘要: Thoracic aortic aneurysms (TAAs) can be broadly divided into true and false (pseudoaneurysms). True contain all three layers of the wall (intima, media, adventitia), whereas have fewer than are contained by adventitia or periadventitial tissues. Multidetector computed tomographic (CT) angiography allows comprehensive evaluation TAAs in terms morphologic features extent, presence thrombus, relationship to adjacent structures branches, signs impending acute rupture, is routinely used this setting. Knowledge causes, significance, imaging appearances, potential complications both common uncommon aneurysms, as well normal postoperative appearance thoracic aorta, essential for prompt accurate diagnosis.
