摘要: Learning through formal and informal experiences is critical for building content knowledge, pedagogical skills, self-efficacy/confidence preservice teachers. teachHOUSTON offers numerous teacher enhancement opportunities outside the education courses which allows teachers to connect real world includes being able relate a diverse population of students understand how course can be related them, their families, communities in everyday experiences. Through such as professional development workshops, discipline specific courses, research experiences, internships, have opportunity engage hands-on science activities they use with students, develop lessons, gain knowledge on deliver this while managing classroom. This chapter will give an overview offered highlight structure six week Noyce Internship Program engaged interns counselors teaching assistants summer STEM camp underserved middle school introduces interactive sessions that model promising practices teaching.
