摘要: Single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) are frequently modeled as isotropic elastic shells. However, there obvious evidences showing that SWCNTs exhibit remarkable chirality induced anisotropy should not be neglected in some cases. In this paper, we derive the closed-form expressions for anisotropic properties of using a molecular mechanics model. Based on these properties, develop based shell model (MBASM) predicting mechanical behavior SWCNTs. The explicit coupling axial, circumferential, and torsional strains, radial breathing mode frequency, longitudinal wave speeds obtained. We show MBASM is capable effects size quantities. efficiency accuracy validated by comparisons present results with existing results.
