摘要: Optimization methods for electromechanical systems are covered with a special emphasis on structural optimization multiphysics systems. Topology as material distribution problem is explained in the first section through two basic single physics numerical examples. These initial examples serve to illustrate process relatively simple physical and provide an opportunity discuss computational challenges associated method. As variation this isotropic approach design, level set techniques topological design of structures then introduced due their recent growth related research field. The second chapter focused more traditional parametric size analysis/optimization techniques. well established can play important role synthesis concepts attained topology optimization. A brief explanation analysis provided including schematic representative example illustrative purposes.
