Mössbauer Investigation of Iron‐Rich Fe+As and Fe+Sb Solid Solutions

摘要: Mossbauer measurements have been made on iron‐rich solid solutions of the Fe+As and Fe+Sb systems to investigate origin increase in moment per Fe atom upon alloying. The envelope experimental data is not exactly fitted assumption a random solution for models with either 2 or 4 coordination shells. system dependence magnetic hyperfine field appears correlate average change at nuclei due nn nnn solute atoms similar that found other alloys. Quadrupolar broadening disorder 2nd higher shells leads approximately symmetrical linebroadening.
