FARM SIZE, TENURE AND PRODUCTIVITY IN AN AREA OF BANGLADESH

摘要: The study attempted to measure and compare resource use productivity with respect farm size tenancy in an area of Bangladesh. It used empirical data collected through a lengthy intensive survey. was observed that per acre increased up certain level (about 4.0 acres) then decreased as the increased. Medium farms (2.0 - 3.99 were found relatively more productive than small (below 2.0 large (4.0 acres above). Share cropping be inefficient production, but cost-sharing had some favourable impact toward improving on sharecropped land.
