Probing the metal-insulator transition in Ni(III)-oxide perovskites

摘要: Systematic measurements of the resistivity $\ensuremath{\rho}(T)$ and thermoelectric power $\ensuremath{\alpha}(T)$ under hydrostatic pressure have been made on single-valent perovskites family ${\mathrm{LnNiO}}_{3}$ $({\mathrm{L}\mathrm{n}=\mathrm{L}\mathrm{a},\mathrm{}\mathrm{P}\mathrm{r},\mathrm{}\mathrm{N}\mathrm{d},\mathrm{}\mathrm{Sm}}_{0.5}{\mathrm{Nd}}_{0.5});$ they distinguish influences chemical insulator-metal transition occurring at a temperature ${T}_{t}.$ The data suggest coexistence above ${T}_{t}$ fluctuations more localized electrons in Fermi-liquid background with an ordering two phases into static charge-density/spin-density wave below
