Elastic proton-nucleus scattering at 800 MeV: a comparison between the optical model and the Glauber model

摘要: Optical-model analyses of 800 MeV elastic proton scattering by eleven nuclei are performed. Relations between the optical-model parameters and nucleon-nucleon Glauber model derived. The results indicate that cross section in calculations should be somewhat larger than free one slope for spin-dependent amplitude considerably assumed previous analyses.
