摘要: In a group of 170 cirrhotic patients with portal hypertension an 8.8% incidence splenic artery aneurysm was found. These have been analysed. Attention focused on the possible pathogenic mechanisms. On basis our experience, ligature and resection is considered best treatment for large aneurysms. nine small sized left in situ order to avoid splenectomy; none these developed rupture during follow-up period from 6 48 months.
