End-to-End Performance Improvement of the Wireless Channel for Video Transmission

摘要: Real time video transmission in wireless environment considers various parameters of channel like information rate, error resiliency, security, end-to-end latency, quality service etc. The available internet protocols are control protocol and user datagram (UDP). But most the real-time applications uses UDP as their transport protocol. is a fast suitable for delay sensitive audio it does not provide flow or recovery require connection management. Due to tremendous growth wired applications, some improvements should be made existing systems protocols. Various techniques improve performance system real over literature. Authors claim that solution suggested paper more reliability transmission. In proposed solution, adaptive redundant packets added every block (or datagram) transmitted order achieve desired rate at receiver. method dose use any retransmission mechanism. network simulator NS-2 used evaluate simulation results indicate can guarantee satisfied by increased packet delivery ratio, reduced hence throughput network.
