摘要: This article aims to raise awareness among researchers, policy makers, and practitioners about the needs of aging Asian Americans. Through telling story “Prime Timers,” a group whose members predominantly consist Americans ranging in age from 55 95 years old, particular emphasis is placed on voices perspectives this population. As result multiple conversations with Prime Timers, three significant issues emerged: purpose, community, health. More specifically, Timers recommend following recommendations suggestions for further research: (1) take more seriously role that faith communities have (and can have) various American groups; (2) give consideration broader historical sociological contexts when attempting define create remedies; (3) find ways involve dialogues subsequent actions) regarding they deem important.
