摘要: Abstract Alternate partial root-zone irrigation (APRI) can greatly affect water conservation and yield stabilization via its physiological regulation of plants. However, most studies have not distinguished the fate residual nitrogen in specific soil layers, little attention has been paid to utilization different layers under APRI. The aim this study is evaluate nitrate accumulated profiles potential for by crops 15N tracer technique simulated column method were used effects APRI on movement nitrate. results showed that, compared conventional irrigation, could save 38.8% without significant tomato yield, even though total plant biomass significantly decreased. improved absorption facilitated transfer from stems leaves fruits. Compared (labeled 15N) upper layer (10–20 cm), lower (40–50 cm) less plants a diminished leaching distance, corresponding increase loss (rate). Under APRI, rate decreased, but did decrease, irrigation. Moreover, promoted root development, especially fine growth, reduced layers.
