Synthesis, characterization and catalytic properties of a chromium silicate xerogel

摘要: Abstract A mixed oxide xerogel, Cr 2 O 3 -SiO , was prepared by the sol-gel method, characterized and investigated in cyclohexane oxidation. According to diffuse reflectance UV-vis, IR, DRX, TPR EPR measurements, 3+ ions are located octahedral sites silicate framework, with no evidence for a separate phase. Leaching experiments suggested that catalytic activity oxidation is due leaching of chromium.
