摘要: Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) is the dominant transport technology used in numerous high capacity networks, based on optical infrastructure. Given importance of costs associated to thes resource management becoming increasingly important, especialmy how circuits (lightpaths) are routed throughout network. This requires use efficient algorithms with provides routing strategies lowest cost. In this paper, we study two different problems related WDM networks: topology design (TD) problem where search minimize number lightpaths route trafic demands, and wavelength (RWA) try optimize resources. Differents formulations proposed solve these problems. Results show effectiveness our solutions.
