摘要: Plant secondary metabolites are an underutilized pool of bioactive molecules for applications in the food, pharma and nutritional industries. One such molecule is fisetin, which present many fruits vegetables has several potential health benefits, including anti-cancer, anti-viral anti-aging activity. Moreover, fisetin recently been shown to prevent Alzheimer׳s disease mice complications associated with diabetes type I. Thus far biosynthetic pathway plants remains elusive. Here, we heterologous assembly a novel Escherichia coli. We propose from amino acid, tyrosine, utilizing nine enzymes. The proceeds via synthesis two flavanones never produced microorganisms before – garbanzol resokaempferol. show first time functional establish E. coli as microbial platform strain production related flavonols.
