摘要: ABSTRACT Although the perimenopausal period is often experienced as a positive life transition, it frequently accompanied by variety of distressing physical and emotional sequelae. Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) has been hailed first-line treatment for many these symptoms. A significant number women, however, are unable to take exogenous hormones because absolute or relative contraindications therapy. Other women unwilling use this reasons, including reluctance unnatural fear unknown risks HRT. This two-part review discusses physiology menopause its related symptoms, well benefits both oral non-oral routes hormone administration. Self-help measures alternative therapeutic options recommended menopausal which include vasomotor instability, urogenital atrophy, psychologic disturbances, risk osteoporosis cardiovascular disease.
