摘要: BACKGROUND: Minimally invasive techniques, such as robotic inguinal hernia repair (RIHR), have potential benefits for patients in various clinical scenarios. However, the value of RIHR older age groups has not yet been established, increased may place at a higher risk postoperative morbidity and mortality. The aim study is to evaluate feasibility ≥80 years old. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Among who underwent between February 2013 August 2020, old were included. Preoperative, intraoperative, variables reviewed. Postoperative complications assessed according Clavien–Dindo (CD) classification Comprehensive Complication Index (CCI®) scoring system. Univariate multivariate analyses used identify factors with complications. RESULTS: A total 51 included study. average operative time was 58.7 min. length stay 0.5 days. Urinary retention seroma commonly encountered (CD Grades 1 2). procedural intervention overnight intensive care unit follow-up needed two each Grade-3a and-4a). maximum CCI score 43.3. There no recurrence or reoperation during mean period 42 months. No statistically significant difference found without CONCLUSION: This first demonstrate ≥ 80-year-old. Although advanced associated comorbidities physiological irregularities, be performed short time, hospital stay, low rate these patients.
