摘要: The purpose was to investigate whether the expression level of TRAF2 gene regulated by DNA methylation and explore role in diagnosis prognosis gastric cancer (GC). Firstly, we detected both at mRNA protein level. And up-regulated two different levels were found (P<0.001). Then measured methylated status MSP got a result that hypomethylated GC patients compared with healthy controls Meanwhile, relationship between clinicopathologic characteristics estimated through chi-square. outcome proved impacted age (P=0.024), lymph node metastasis (P=0.046), TNM stage (P=0.021), distant (P=0.002) depth invasion (P=0.002). AUC 0.795 accompanying sensitivity 66.7% specificity 94.7% obtained from Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) curve which indicated diagnostic value high. At last, researched prognostic methylation. Kaplan-Meier showed hypomethylation had lived much shorter than those hypermethylation (log rank test, P<0.001). Cox regression analysis revealed (HR=18.827, 95% CI=3.103-114.222, P=0.001), (HR=0.154, CI=0.047-0.512, P=0.002), (HR=3.032, CI=1.116-8.237, P=0.030), as well differentiation (HR=0.287, CI=0.113-0.731, P=0.009) all vital factors GC. Taken together, increased this could be an independent indicator
