摘要: Abstract : The primary goal of this research is to develop a mesoscale model capable predicting regions convective outbreak. be initialized by simple soundings(s) and during the data assimilation period single Doppler radar are assimilated into fields. should producing forecasts development on mini-computer system. cover al 100 km domain with minimum resolution 5 km. benchmark system used for DEC Micro-Vax II. basic study Colorado State University Regional Atmospheric Modeling System (RAMS). overall features RAMS described in Appendix A. In following sections we describe various versions that have been developed project, methods four-dimensional data, preliminary testing evaluation procedures results.
