摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter focuses on the isolation and purification of receptor protein as well its physical chemical properties, attempts to reconstitute a functional receptor-membrane complex. The is advanced largely because an abundant source receptor, electric organ, highly specific, high-affinity ligand, snake α-toxin. Soon it can be expected that quaternary structure unequivocally assigned primary sequence probably determined, at least in region binding site. At membrane level, various states their transitions are becoming increasingly available study through use fluorescent probes. Physical association with both bilayers vesicles has been inferred by methods but integration into lipid bilayer orientation across have yet demonstrated. With bilayers, distinction between artifactual receptor-mediated conductance changes complicated interpretation data.
