摘要: Background: STIs like HIV and syphilis are acquired as comorbidities by high risk populations may influence their original course prognosis. Methods: Be- tween January of 2005 2013 data patients were collected at the Department Dermatology Semmelweis University, Budapest . Diagnostic proce- dures included clinical analysis screening serum samples for Treponema pallidum and HIV antibodies. Results: A total 1,401 new syphilitic 338 new HIV infections diagnosed. In 86.58% had monoinfection, 7.92% already an infection 5.5% infection simultaneously, so 22.78% the with syphi - lis together. Male gender, MSM (men who sex men) orientation positive past venerological history dominant in all groups. Most diagnosed in a latent infectious stage based on result serological check-up. Secondary stage neurosyphilis more common coinfections. Conclusion: (i) male gen - der, orientation, positive risk factors for acquiring new STIs, (ii) different infected patients, (iii) but their timely regular check-ups resulted earlier diagnosis syphilis, suggesting the necessity frequent screening.
