摘要: The purpose of this study was to determine if the newborn pig brain had a reserve unperfused capillaries during normoxia. To accomplish this, method developed volume fraction, surface area, and number both total perfused in brain. Newborn pigs either sex, 2–7 d old, were used. FITC-dextran, molecular weight 147 000, used as plasma marker visualize capillaries. Alkaline phosphatase staining stain capillary bed Our results showed that FITC-dextran stayed within vascular compartment, it not seen areas subsequently visualized with alkaline staining. Eighty-four 86% phosphatase-stained could be perfusion markers (india ink or FITC-dextran) different regions. Similar obtained two animals using basement membrane stain, silver methenamine. fraction (mm3/mm3) cortex 0.055 ± 0.012, cerebellum 0.062 0.011, medulla 0.039 0.012. Capillary area (mm2/mm3) regions averaged 23.2 1.8, 24.8 2.5, 15.8 2.9. (per mm2) 375 37, 329 216 32. time course filling indicated approximately 50% at 6 s, which increased over 80% 12 s remained unchanged thereafter. We found (molecular 000) suitable capillaries, mark conclude fill rapidly organ lacks rest.
