SLEEP PROFILES AND TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS IN SHIFT WORKERS TAKING PSYCHOACTIVE DRUGS

摘要: A review of the literature shows that shift work, in particular night shifts, have an adverse effect on road safety. This paper investigates further rate accidents related to sleep duration and intake anxiolytic drugs nurses working medium heavy workloads wards a university hospital. The results survey carried out among 448 nursed are discussed. Road were found occur more frequently way home from morning shifts. use by those who reported was higher than for did not strongly correlated with after shift.
