摘要: In the first part of this study, feasibility manufacturing resin-bonded particleboard from recently identified Brazilian giant bamboo (Guadua magna) was evaluated. second part, main goal to study material properties cement and gypsum-composites made that species. The effect CaCl2 addition in physical mechanical also Initially, hydration test performed determine inhibition index particles gypsum setting. Three concentrations were used produce cementbonded particleboards (BCBP): 0%, 2% 4%. not added into gypsum-bonded particle boards (BGBP). Mechanical evaluated nondestructive testing as well. Guadua magna or setting classified “low inhibition”. at bamboo-cement increased internal bonding reduced water absorption. Other significantly affected. bamboocement presented higher bending strength lower moisture content than bamboo-gypsum boards.
