Simulation of Distributed Optical Fiber Sensors Using Spatially-Selective Brillouin Scattering

摘要: We implement numerical simulations for the distributed optical fiber sensor system that uses spatially-selective Brillouin scattering, by treating superposition of optical-frequency-modulated pump/probe waves in time domain. obtain temporal and spatial distributions gain various cases. Simulations are applied to case concatenated fibers different kinds temperature along fiber, which give reasonable results sensor. The result using a triangular wave instead sinusoidal one as modulation waveform shows has an advantage resolution.
