摘要: The desire for economic growth has increased pressure to allocate timber harvesting and mineral extraction rights in northern Canada. A result of this is an number overlapping sometimes incompatible demands the land base. One important group affected by expanding resource development Aboriginal People' who reside boreal forest. There are two factors that suggest importance inclusion People's use base planning. First, nontimber resources continue play role their culture, economy, diet as documented anthropology, geography, sociology, nutrition literatures (Tobias Kay; Usher; Beckley Hirsch). second factor People make up a large percentage Canadian population, numbers growing at higher rate than rest population (Statistics Canada).2 In forest, primary users forest products (e.g., berries, medicinal plants, wildlife meat, fur). As result, they often most changes landscape. Determining influence practices policy on hindered lack knowledge preferences products. goal project was investigate underlying determinants hunting-site characteristics, frequency hunting activities, marginal values characteristics activities.
