摘要: Cloud chamber photographs of cosmic-ray tracks in a magnetic field up to 17,000 gauss are shown. On the assumption that particles producing travelling downward through rather than upward, positive charge appear as well electrons. From specific ionization along track it is concluded positives protons, and not nuclei greater unity. No evidence uncovered demanding introduction neutron for phenomena. Eight examples associated Energies range from below ${10}^{6}$ electron-volts values few cases order ${10}^{9}$ electron-volts. Energy 70 listed. The scattering cosmic traversing 6.0 mm lead plate measured.
