This paper describes an extension of the Tsui, Matsumura, and Tsui (1985) procedure, which is based on a multinomial distribution model within dollar-unit sampling framework, with Dirichlet prior distribution. The extended different are used in this study to generate upper lower bounds two-sided confidence intervals for situations both understatement overstatement errors possible. reported simulation indicates that achieved levels proposed estimates usually close or greater than nominal repeated populations studied.
