摘要: Skeletal muscle differentiation is a complex process: It characterised by changes in gene expression and protein composition. Simultaneously, dramatic remodelling of the cytoskeleton associated cell-matrix contacts, costameres, occurs. The localisation ponsin at contacts marks establishment costameres. In this report we show that skeletal cells are novel isoform, which contains large insertion its carboxy-terminus. This muscle-specific module binds adapter proteins Nck1 Nck2, increased co-localisation with Nck2 observed differentiating cells. Since can be phosphorylated, it may adjust interaction affinity Nck proteins. isoform Nck1/2 provide exciting insight into convergence signalling pathways crucial role for re-generation.
