摘要: The present invention relates to compositions and methods relating MEK5 its role in heart disease. This protein has now been identified as a target for therapeutic intervention due molecular events that lead or contribute cardiac hypertrophy and/or dilated cardiomyopathy. In particular, inhibition of activity will decrease signalling the pathways reduce eliminate effects on sarcomere assembly, which turn result dysfunction. Also provided are transgenic animals screening inhibitors MEK5.
