摘要: A hierarchical bandwidth management model for multiservice networks that provide at a transport level and service/application to increased network scalability without sacrificing efficiency flexibility. In particular, in an Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) environment, method of supporting various quality service levels (e.g. EF, AF1, AF2, BE) number applications ATM, MPLS, IP, FR) is disclosed. The includes the steps of: establishing connection tunnel E-Label Switched Path(LSP)) between pairs edge nodes network; managing among applications. exemplary embodiment invention also provides admission structure: one label switched paths user/application connections. hierachical (exemplified apparatus) ability share and/or partition by application customer-controlled trade-off guarantee (per application/QoS) (i.e. low fragmentation).
