Measurement of yarn density in woven fabrics using fringe projection moiré techniques

摘要: Fringe projection Moire, a novel, accurate and fast technique with high repeatability, has been developed in order to measure the yarn density woven fabrics. In experimental set-up, collimated laser beams illuminate Ronchi grating be projected on fabric. case of lines fabric becomes same, desired moire pattern is observed As result, measurement distance between can guide us find out by using simple equations. this regard, twenty five groups shirting fabrics consisting weave structures different weft densities have tested. The results show that there correlation (R 2 =0.9932) data obtained from new conventional methods.
