摘要: Abstract This paper addresses the optimization of tactical planning for Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry using an MILP model. To prevent unnecessary waste and missed sales, shelf-life restrictions are introduced three methods. The direct method tracks age products directly. While it provides optimal solutions, is computationally inefficient. indirect forces to leave inventory before end their shelf-life. It obtains solutions within a few percent optimality. Moreover, compared method, computational time was on average reduced by factor 32. hybrid models directly in first indirectly second storage stage. near and, average, reduces required 5 method. Cases containing up 25, 100, 1000 SKUs were optimized direct, respectively.
