Development and reliability of two core stability field tests.

摘要: Because of the recognized link between core stability and back lower extremity injury in sport, additional field tests that assess strength power component are needed to identify athletes at risk such injury. To end, we developed tested reliability front side abdominal (FAPT SAPT), which were adapted from plyometric medicine ball exercises. The FAPT SAPT performed by explosively contracting musculature using arms as a lever project ball. Twenty-four untrained young women (aged 20.9 +/- 1.1 year) completed three trials each on separate nonconsecutive days. average distance was projected day recorded; inferred this measure.
