摘要: 1. The fate of glucosyl urea (GU), lactosyl (LU) and corresponding mixtures the free sugars their degradation products were examined during in vitro incubation compounds with rumen contents taken from donor sheep steers at various stages adaptation to these compounds. 2. sugar-urea bond was virtually unattacked unadapted but generally a slow release galactose moiety occurred. After feeding LU or GU animals for period approximately 10 d, rates disappearance both bound sugar had increased, still markedly slower than those urea. In lactose also increased response content animals. 3. Ammonia accumulation rument when substrates notably lower equivalent amounts glucose substrates. 4. Bacterial growth estimated using an method based on incorporation 32P into bacterial nucleic acids. Markedly different patterns observed depending whether
