WIDEBAND PRINTED PLANAR MONOPOLE ANTENNA FOR PCS, UWB AND X-BAND APPLICATIONS

摘要: In this paper, a printed planar monopole antenna (PPMA) is presented for PCS, UWB and X-band. The designed in two stages. the design of preliminary PPMA used to obtain proposed PPMA, structure divided into sections, they are optimized sense bottom up strategy. bandwidth enhanced by employing tapered transitions inset feed. resulting operates between 2.37GHz 12GHz with VSWR < 2 an average peak realized gain 4.95 dB. Therefore, can be considered suitable Bluetooth, WLAN, WiMAX, implementing slots on include suppress Bluetooth commonly WLAN WiMAX bands, ones allocated out UWB. 1.67GHz– 1.91GHz 3GHz–15GHz bands 2. (Gpr) PCS 1.32 dB at 1.8GHz, Gpr 5 band. group delay performances also examined, maximum deviations PPMAs observed as 1 ns 1.25 ns, respectively.
