Selective ion-exchange in MAPO-36 and its application in toluene disproportionation

摘要: MAPO-36 was synthesized hydrothermally by isomorphic substitution of Mg2+ in the framework AlPO-36 and ion-exchanged with Fe3+, Zn2+, La3+ Ce3+ wet method. The materials were characterized XRD, TGA, TPD (ammonia) SEM-EDX. XRD revealed absence structural degradation after ion-exchange. showed selective ion-exchange strong acid sites MAPO-36. weight loss around 550 °C TGA for Fe, La CeMAPO-36 suggested conversion M(OH) 2 + to MO+. Toluene disproportionation carried over all catalysts which diphenyl methane derivative be principle intermediate formation p-xylene other products. time on stream study exclusive 6 h.
