摘要: The aim of the MOSAIK-project is to test alternative management systems regarding their efficiency in maintaining characteristic species composition dry grasslands. We present an integrated landscape model approach system for applicability preserving By rototilling, i.e. cyclic, massive disturbance vegetation cover, we established a controlled mosaic cycle comprising successional series from heavily disturbed areas grassland and shrubs. regime affects on different temporal spatial scales. resulting shifting mosaics determine habitat qualities plant animal species. Changes quality may reduce survival local or regional populations. To predict risk extinction specific functional types, apply modelling approaches scales levels hierarchy. achieve integrate modules abiotic biotic state variables, processes complex interactions spatially explicit way into MOSAIK model, implementing static as well dynamic approaches. parameters data necessary reliable were determined empirically two study sites Germany. Subsystems overall are parameterized validated by means extensive field surveys. still development. In this paper give overview proposed show general structure model. Preliminary results exemplified respect economic simple scenarios.
