摘要: Multislice computed tomography (CT) angiography represents a technological evolution in cardiac imaging due to improved spatial and temporal resolution. Rapid improvements multislice CT scanners over the last decade have allowed this technique become viable effective alternative invasive coronary selected patients. has demonstrated high sensitivity specificity, particular, very negative predictive value, which makes it valuable modality for screening patients suspected of artery disease. In addition, demonstrates accuracy detection characterisation plaques, been reported play an important role predicting disease progression events. The aim review was present overview clinical applications disease, with regard its diagnostic value Emerging areas CT, including dual-energy myocardial perfusion, are also discussed. Limitations future directions highlighted.
