Calibration method for a structured light measurement system with two different focal length cameras

摘要: Abstract During reconstructing objects with complex shapes, 3D object surfaces are anticipated an elaborate description to surface features and a fast acquiring speed. While Camera–Projector Structured Light (CPSL) system constant focal length cannot achieve the two goals. The CPSL Long Focal Length (LFL) camera has high resolution small measurement area, therefore, sampling density low efficiency. Conversely, Short (SFL) measuring efficiency without enough density. To accomplish goals, we propose novel integrating types of system. One SFL obtains overall morphology objects. Another LFL acquires details very well. integrate them, calibration method is presented. Experimental results verify robustness accuracy proposed method.
