摘要: The aim of this study was to translate and adapt Templer's Death Anxiety Scale into Spanish examine mean scores, internal consistency, temporal stability, factor structure for a sample 187 students, 147 women 40 men, an average age 20.8 yr. Mean scores were 6.2 (SD = 3.4) 5.0 2.7) men; these differences statistically significant. Cronbach coefficient alpha .73, test-retest correlation over 3 wk. .87. Analysis by principal components with varimax rotation produced four factors eigenvalues greater than one; labeled (1) Cognitive-Affective, (2) Pain Illness, (3) Stimuli Related Death, (4) Awareness Time Passing. Obtained results consistent previous studies carried out on other versions the scale indicate form is useful evaluating death anxiety in Spanish-speaking subjects Spain.
