摘要: Summary 1. Habitat fragmentation is involved in the present extinction crisis and known to influence many aspects of population dynamics. The level connectivity between populations one its components. In an experimental study on common lizard (Lacerta vivipara Jacquin), we analysed two contrasting habitats connection dispersal patterns, differences dispersing philopatric individuals, size, survival rates, reproduction. 2. The design consisted eight two-patch units. Half them were connected by dispersal. We performed this treatment a grassland wood clearance, with different resource availability (respectively called ‘rich’ ‘poor’ habitat). 3. We expected that loss would modify juvenile have effect negatively affect rates fecundity modifying social interactions consequences compared ones. 4. Connection modified patterns. Two periods occurred unconnected units, but only ones. Moreover, dispersers second period morphologically similar individuals. probably caused late individuals which remained context. Dispersers seemed lower winter than as if these had been ‘forced’ disperse. 5. We found demography through female reproduction depending habitat type. Connection led higher habitats, whereas it was not case habitats. decreased reproductive rate whatever type habitat. 6. This suggests can directly demographic parameters quality involving behavioural mechanisms. It confirms conservation management, like installation corridors, must take into account characteristics features.
