摘要: Image-guided tumor ablation for early stage hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is an accepted non-surgical treatment that provides excellent local control and favorable survival benefit. This review summarizes the recent advances in HCC. Diagnostic imaging molecular biology of HCC has recently undergone marked improvements. Second-generation ultrasonography (US) contrast agents, new computed tomography (CT) techniques, liver-specific agents magnetic resonance (MRI) have enabled detection smaller inconspicuous lesions. Various imaging-guidance tools incorporate imaging-fusion between real-time US CT/MRI, are now common percutaneous ablation, increased operator confidence accurate targeting technically difficult tumors. In addition to radiofrequency (RFA), various therapeutic modalities including microwave irreversible electroporation, high-intensity focused ultrasound attracted attention as alternative energy sources effective locoregional addition, combined with RFA chemoembolization or may be able overcome limitation advanced large Finally, understanding biological mechanisms therapy associated will important successful control. All these result significant improvement prognosis patients. this review, we primarily focus on biology, diagnosis, tools, modalities, refer current status future perspectives
