摘要: Vesicoureteral reflux (VUR) is the retrograde flow of urine from bladder to upper urinary tract and common, occurring in 30–70 % children with infections. While not typically harmful absence bacterial contamination or high pressures, bacteriuria are at a much higher risk for pyelonephritis. Repeat episodes pyelonephritis have been linked acquired renal scarring, hypertension, dysplasia, progressive failure, highlighting importance diagnosis treatment affected pediatric population. Minimally invasive techniques address VUR include robotic-assisted laparoscopic extravesical intravesical ureteral reimplantation endoscopic antireflux surgery injection Deflux®. These offer success rates approaching, though yet exceeding, standard open but associated advantages such as improved cosmesis, shortened hospitalization, decreased need postoperative analgesics.
