摘要: INTRODUCTION: Bonded rapid maxillary expansion appliances have been suggested to control increases in the vertical dimension of face after but there is still no consensus literature concerning its actual effectiveness. OBJECTIVE: The purpose this study was evaluate and anteroposterior cephalometric changes associated with performed using bonded appliances. METHODS: sample consisted 25 children both genders, aged between 6 10 years old, skeletal posterior crossbite. After expansion, appliance itself used for fixed retention. Were analyzed lateral teleradiographs taken prior treatment onset removal appliance. CONCLUSION: Based on results, it can be concluded that use did not significantly alter children's measurements.
