Study of magnetic properties with temperature and field variation of electron doped Ca0.85Gd0.15MnO3

摘要: Abstract Temperature and magnetic field dependent magnetization (M) of electron doped Ca0.85Gd0.15MnO3 (CGMO) synthesised by conventional solid state reaction method have been studied. Phase purity sample structure was analysed X-ray diffraction (XRD) using Cu-Kα radiation at room temperature. The undergoes a paramagnetic (PM) to ferromagnetic (FM) phase transition the temperature TC = 113 K as indicated minimum dM/dT vs. T plot. positive slope Arrott plot signifies that is 2nd order transition. A small bifurcation arises between cooled (FC) zero (ZFC) low below TC due spin glass or cluster glass-like behavior CGMO compound. Griffiths like (GP) observed from sharp downturn inverse susceptibility (χ−1) curve with variation (T).
