摘要: Hierarchical Au–Co(OH)2 microclusters have been synthesized by a facile ethanol-assisted hydrothermal method on FTO glass substrates. The as-fabricated forms typical wreath-shaped structure nanosheet with an urchin-like located in the centre surrounded densely grown Co(OH)2 nanoarrays. Morphological evolution of through intermediate steps could be identified varying reaction time. incorporated electronegative Au may responsible for decrease binding energy compared to Co(OH)2. electrode was found promising catalyst oxygen (OER) neutral pH solutions, larger roughness factor, lower OER onset and much higher current density than electrode. improvement activity due their large surface area provided 3D network microclusters, incorporation as electron sink facilitate oxidation Co(II) Co(III) Co(IV).
