摘要: Inflammation and tumor immune microenviroment are critical factors for prognosis in numerous cancers. The aim of this study was to determine the prognostic value preoperative neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) breast cancer. We performed a retrospective analysis 487 patients diagnosed with primary cancer at Shanghai Ruijin hospital from January 2009 December 2010. Hematological parameters before surgery, clinicopathological data, survival status were obtained. Survival used evaluate NLR. optimal cutoff determined as 1.93 NLR median follow-up time 55.0 months. On univariate analysis, high (>1.93) had worse 5-year disease-free (DFS) compared those low (77.9 vs 88.0 %, p = 0.002). Regarding overall survival, there no significant difference between NLR, 90.8 91.7 % (p = 0.707). In triple-negative cancer, associated DFS (63.4 84.9 %, p = 0.040). Mutivariate revealed that an independent factor (HR = 1.867, 95 % confidence interval; (95%CI) = 1.155–3.017, p = 0.011). Preoperative is predictor patients, especially subtype. Further studies required validate clinical application.
