摘要: In a world of competing demands and scarcity societal resources, information on effectiveness only is insufficient to make decisions whether the outcomes produced by parenting interventions are value-for-money. There is, thus, need investigate value-for-money credentials for improving child health, so that resources can be optimally allocated among demands, best made improve welfare. This chapter first introduces readers economic way thinking forms evaluation, later, provides narrative literature review evidence targeting diverse health issues, with focus full evaluations. hopes provide an overview research completed date. The found 22 studies in peer-reviewed examining both costs two or more interventions, where at least one was intervention aim health. Most evaluations targeted mental specifically externalizing behavior problems, most have used cost-effectiveness designs. existing demonstrates likely cost-effective use particularly respect preventing issues.
