摘要: Unsafe abortion is one of the main causes maternal mortality and severe morbidity in countries with restrictive laws. In 2007, International Federation Gynecology Obstetrics (FIGO) created a Working Group on Prevention Abortion its Consequences (WGPUA). This led to FIGO initiative that aim which has active participation 43 member societies. The WGPUA recommended plans action participating consider several levels prevention shown have potential successfully reduce unsafe abortions: (1) primary unintended pregnancy induced abortion; (2) secondary ensure safety an procedure could not be avoided; (3) tertiary further complications taken place already, through high-quality postabortion care; (4) quaternary repeated procedures family planning counseling contraceptive services. paper reviews these evidence they can effective.
